is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required to do so by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Your IP address will not be linked to other data held by Google under any circumstances. The IP addresses are anonymised so they cannot be allocated (IP masking).

c) Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

We further use Google AdWords Conversion Tracking to create statistical records of the use of our website and evaluate these for the purposes of optimising our website. To this end, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer if you access our website via a Google advertisement.

These cookies are only valid for 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on the website of the AdWords client and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the client will know that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page.

Each AdWords client has a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be traced via the websites of AdWords clients. The information gained from the Conversion cookies is used to provide conversion statistics for AdWords clients who have opted in to Conversion Tracking. The AdWords client finds out the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisement and who were forwarded to another website with a Conversion Tracking tag. They do not get any information, however, which would allow them to identify users personally.

If you do not wish to take part in the tracking process, you can refuse the placing of the cookies necessary for this by changing the browser settings and deactivating the automatic setting of cookies in general. You can also deactivate cookies for Conversion Tracking by setting your browser so cookies from the domain „www.googleadservices.com“ are blocked. 5. Social media plug-ins

We use social plug-ins for the social networks Facebook and Twitter on our website on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 page 1 letter F GDPR to increase the profile of our company. The commercial purposes that lie behind this can be seen as a legitimate interest in the sense of the GDPR. Responsibility for operation in line with data protection legislation lies with the respective provider. We include these plug-ins by means of what is known as the two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website as well as possible.

a) Facebook

Our website uses social media plug-ins by Facebook to make the use of the website more personal. We use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button for this. This is an offer made available by Facebook.

If you access a page on our website that contains a plug-in of this type, your browser will establish a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in will be sent by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated by your browser into the website.

The inclusion of the plug-in means Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the relevant page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is sent by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to our website directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example you click on the “LIKE” or “SHARE” buttons, the relevant information will also be sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Facebook can use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based structuring of the Facebook pages. In order to do this, Facebook creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, for example to evaluate your use of our website with respect to the advertisements shown to you by Facebook, to inform other Facebook users of your activity on our website and to provide further services associated with the use of Facebook.

If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our web presence to your Facebook account, you have to log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further dissemination and use of data by Facebook and your rights in this regard and settings to protect your privacy are available in Facebook’s privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/).

Plug-ins for the short message service provided by Twitter Inc. (Twitter) are integrated in our website. You can recognise Twitter plug-ins (tweet button) by the Twitter logo on our website. An overview of tweet buttons can be found here (https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons).

If you access a page of our website that contains a plug-in of this type, a direct connection will be established between your browser and the Twitter server. Twitter then receives the information that you with your IP address have visited out site. If you click the Twitter "tweet" button while logged in to your Twitter account, you can link the content of our pages to your Twitter profile. Twitter can then attribute your visit to our site to your user account. We wish to note that we as the provider of the website do not receive any information about the content of the data transferred or their use from Twitter.
If you do not want Twitter to be able to attribute your visit to our website, please log out of your Twitter account.
You can find further information about this in Twitter's privacy policyhttps://twitter.com/privacy).
